The End of 2015-2016
As the end of the academic year rolls by, we take a moment to recognize the achievements of our students.
At the 109th Spring Commencement, the Department of Government programs graduated 47 students from a total of 713 students in the College of Arts and Sciences, including 13 MPA students from both the traditional on-campus program and also from our newly introduced online MPA program.
Additionally, this year the Department inducted 25 students into the Theta Omega Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the Political Science Honor Society, including an honorary induction for Dr. Frank O'Connor, a member of the EKU Economics Department and longtime friend of the Department of Government. Five students were inducted into the Pi Alpha Alpha, the honor society for Public Administration, and Vicki Jozefowicz -a member of the MPA Advisory Board was given an honorary induction as well. Lambda Epsilon Chi inducted 2 students.
Congratulations to all the graduating students and those honored at the end of the year.
We look forward to seeing a new cohort of students and many returning faces in the Fall 2016 semester.
