Mock Trial Going to Nationals!

It's an interesting thing when the university runs the headline "Success on the National Stage No Longer a Surprise."  It is true, though.  Every year, the EKU Mock Trial team racks up wins everywhere they go.  This year, the Mocklets beat their regional rivals -Cincinnati and Bellarmine -to take first place at the Windy City Invitational, and they knocked off several national teams at the Commodore Classic, before losing to reigning champion and host school, Vanderbilt -placing 4th overall.  Over the course of the season, EKU Mock Trial never placed lower than 7th in any tournament, and recieved special recognition from the judges for their creative use of evidence in the cases.

We should also recognize their dedication, coming in to prepare for the tournaments even during the now-famous snowpocalypse.

Good luck to the Mocklets as they go to Nationals.
